Seperti kita tahu, Google Pixel hadir dengan Kualitas Kamera yang aduhai, bahkan Tahun 2016 kemarin DxOMark menobatkan sebagai Smartphone dengan Kamera Terbaik dengan Nilai 89. Walaupun kemudian ditahun 2017 ini harus mengalah dengan HTC U11 yang mendapatkan nilai 90. Akan tetapi walaupun demikian, Teknologi Kamera Google Pixel emang aduhai. Teknologi HDR yang dikenal dengan HDR+ nya emang jawara. Dengan teknologi itu pula Hasil Low Light Google Pixel sangat Joss dipandang.
Nah beruntunglah kalian jika memiliki device dengan Snapdragon 820, Snapdragon 821 atau Snapdragon 835, kalian bisa icip2 teknologi Google Camera 4.4.xxx yang sukses di Ported ke Device lain. Developer Ukrania tersebut sukses otak-atik Google Camera untuk bisa WORK di Smartphone lain termasuk teknologi HDR+ nya ini.
Pihak XDA sendiri telah mengkonfirmasi akan hal tersebut. Yang tertulis dalam tulisan disini. Tak hanya itu dalam posting XDA itu juga disertakan sample photo dengan Google Camera HDR+ di Device OnePlus 3. Sang Developer yang dikenal dengan B-S-D itu juga sukses di wawancara singkat oleh pihak XDA, berikut wawancaranya dalam bahasa Inggris tentu saja
Mini-Interview with B-S-G
Through an interpreter (XDA Senior Member Daniiiiik49), we spoke with the Ukrainian developer about this project. First, we asked how he was able to get this Google Camera HDR+ modification to work:
I took Nexus 6 as entry device to spoof. Then you just take needed device from HDR-supported (like Nexus 5X/6P or Pixels) list and replace all necesarry stuff to get different processing.
I spent about 6-8 hours to get it work. 2 evenings of suffering…
Next, we asked him about his future plans for the app:
For now it’s just beta version and I don’t really know which device is the best to spoof in order to achieve the most impressive results of HDR+ processing. Currently, I’m trying to get frontfacing camera to work with disabled flashlight. Only after I’ll a find fix for that, I’ll look deeply into improving photo quality.
Finally, we asked him about his plans on supporting devices that are older than the Hexagon 680:
I have no plans to support any specific device, but I’ll probably make some versions of my modification with different spoofed devices. Every device works differently with HDR+ and it’s better to find the favorite one yourself. I already have at least 5 different versions here on forum (4pda) with different processing algorithm (2 hybrids, Nexus 6P, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 XL).

Update: Google Camera Mods 31 Agustus 2017
Akhirnya Developer memberikan update dari Aplikasi Porting Google Camera ini. Salah satu yang menarik dari update ini adalah adanya fitur ZSL atau lebih dikenal dengan Zero Shutter Lag yang terkenal di Pixel Phone. Selain itu update ini juga hadir untuk lebih banyak Xiaomi Device dengan Prosesor Snapdragon seri 4xx dan 6xx. Developer Ukrania B-S-G ini emang gesit dan melakukan update versi 4.4.020.163412804. Di porting sebelumnya Kamera Depan belum bisa berfungsi setidaknya di OnePlus 3/3T dan OnePlus 5, saat ini sudah bisa dan termasuk fitur Front Flash nya
